New buyers will accept and value the classic look of newly refinished hardwood floors in a home. The carpet seems relatively new ish and it was taken care of so it s okay. A good sign that that the carpet is over existing hardwood that matches the wood in the dining room would be a height difference between the two floors at that threshold.
