Sometimes this can cause issues with heat transfer vinyl sticking.
This is why you need the heat to apply so typically htv is only going to work with a material.
If easyweed is heat pressed too long or pressed at too high of heat it will not stick to the garment.
Your best option is to not pre wash garments.
When too much pressing happens on a design it is almost as if the adhesive gets completely burned off.
If you need shirts that won t shrink purchase preshrunk shirts to prevent it.
It is the adhesive side but only sticks with heat.
The dull side is the actual vinyl.
The shiny side is a clear plastic carrier sheet that holds the heat transfer vinyl in place.
Htv or heat transfer vinyl is not intended to be used on ceramic glass mugs or any type of substrate other than something that will allow the htv to melt into it.
